The ministry of external affairs has released this new application early on Android device and later on released them on IOS and Windows platform, making it a lot easier for users to make use of Passport services from your mobile. Users are enabled to access all the passport related services through their mobile handset. Due to immense public response to the Android app, the Ministry decided to extend the apps to other platforms. So it was later on released for IOPS and windows devices.
mPassport seva is a easy to use application(app) which can be used with ease. Citizens, and all other people can access information related to passport seva, Applying for passport, locate Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), District Passport Cell (DPC) and many general information on how to obtain a passport.
It gives details about the status of the passport application, important contact information of the passport of the officials and information due to many queries and concerns.
Present application helps the citizens to search to Local passport seva Kendra and District passport cell, by which they can also contact the office manually and get the required info. In other ways it can also map the citizens directly to their desired Passport office whether it is district wise or any other seva Kendra.
People living abroad can get details about the information of missions and goals. For few of the states, people living there can also find their nearby police stations. It also enables citizens to get information on the required fees to be paid for the services and charges.
Status of the passport and its delivery can be found out by tracking it with the help of given code number and date of birth.
This passport seva project is conducted by consular, the project is currently operational and servicing citizens through 77 Passport Seva Kendra’s across the nation.
This new app is available on 3 platforms Android, IOS and Windows. Later on app might be updated.
