GOA University Convocation 2015 - Application Form, Apply Online, Date

The aspirants those passed the Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s degree both professional and non-professional, M.Phil & Ph.D. programmes from the Goa University and now eligible to receive the degrees and wants to apply for the 26th convocation. Notice of convocation will be issued at least 4 months before the Convocation which is normally held in early January/February every year.

The Convocation forms are to be obtained by the probationer and to be submitted to the Examination Section with necessary details along with the prescribed fees. The Degrees of all deserving probationer will be prepared by the University and will be issued to them after the convocation on the following day. Convocation Application fee:

The fees charged for various Degrees/Diplomas at the convocation are as follows:

1. Non Professional Degrees: Rs- 600

2. Professional Degrees & Ph.D.: Rs- 900

3. Postal Charges in respect of aspirants staying Outside the Country and desirous of obtaining the      Degree by Post: Rs- 350

4. Postal Charges in absentia (within India): Rs- 100

5. Postal Charges in absentia (abroad): Rs- 350

6. Search fee for Convocation degree (per year): (a) up-to 5 yrs - Nil (b) Above 5 yrs: Rs- 100.

How to apply for Convocation:

Aspirant’s forms can be obtained from the Examination Section or can be downloaded from the Goa University website. After obtaining the Convocation Form, the Candidate may make cash payment of the prescribed fees through bank challan at the University branch of the State Bank of India.

In case of payment made by Indian Postal Order/ Bank Demand Draft, the same should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, Goa University, payable at Panaji.

The aspirants desirous to collect his/her Degree/Diploma Certificate should collect from the University Examination Section within 10 days from the date of Convocation by producing the acknowledgement slip. The University accepts no responsibility for any loss/ non- delivery of the Certificate.

The prescribed copies of the Bank Challan are available with the Application Form. It may kindly be noted that the University shall not receive the Fees in any other form.

The candidates who have passed any Degree Examinations of Dibrugarh University in the period from 11.02.2012 to 29.11 2015 are eligible to apply for the Convocation.
