The seat allotment system of IIT JEE – 2015 is organized by the CBSE. Seven IIT’s are responsible for conducting the IIT JEE Advanced – 2015 namely IIT- Bombay, Guwahati, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee. A candidate can attempt IIT JEE Advanced test a maximum number of two times in two consecutive years. NEW PROCEDURE OF SEATS ALLOTMENT:
There is good news for the candidates whose parents belong to Paramilitary/defense departments. There are two seats are reserved for the candidates whose parents are either killed or have permanent disability. Such a candidate has to produce the relevant certificate issued by the Defense department of India along with their valid rank letter which will confirm your candidature for the seat. While for all other candidates the seat allotment procedure is almost same as previous years. A separate merit list will be prepared by the IIT JEE Advanced – 2015 and these marks will be published on a score card of every candidate. In the counselling all the successful candidates has to submit the valid score card for being a part of the seats allotment procedure.
