UPSC going to conduct the Written Test for Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) for 2015-14 and invites the Applications from the interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the UPSC. This SCRA Exam is for the appoint the candidates in Special Class Apprentice in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railway which is held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). UPSC will release the official Notification for this SCRA exam on 5th of October 2015 on their official website. The candidates who are interested they can apply for SCRA Exam after the releasing of Notification. The Description about the Eligibility of Candidates for SCRA is given below:

Educational Qualification:
The Candidates who are interested to apply for SCRA Exam have the Qualification as given below:
The Candidates must be passed in Intermediate or Equivalent Exam from recognized Board with the First or Second Division with the Mathematics and one of Physics and Chemistry. The candidates must have a Graduate Degree with Mathematics +Physics/ Chemistry from reputed University Affiliated by the Govt. of India.
The Candidates must passed in the first year Examination of 3 years Degree Course OR 5 years Engineering Course.
Age Limitation: The Age of candidates must be between 17 to 21 years as on 1st January 2015. The relaxation in Age is applied category wise as direct in the notification.
Application Fee:
The candidates except of SC/ST/PH and Female candidates, have to pay the Rs.100/- as Application Fee of SCRA Exam by depositing Cash in any branch of SBI.
How to Apply:
The interested candidates can apply online through the official website of UPSC. The Application Form is available on the official website. The Applicants have to fill the all required information on the Application Form in an accurate manner and submit it before the Last date i.e. 4th of November 2015. Candidates are advised to take a print of Application form on the paper for further use.
The official Notification of SCRA Exam is not declare yet. It will be released on 5/10/2015.
